Rat City by Curt Colbert is the first in a series of hard-boiled historical detective novels featuring WWII vet, Jake Rossiter, who wants to clean up the corruption in his hometown and his inimitable girl Friday, Miss Jenkins, who wants to be a PI.

Rat City Publishing, which specializes in mysteries set in Seattle, is delighted to be able to reprint the novel that inspired our name and thanks Uglytown for permission to use the original cover design.
